What's in it?This richly appointed holiday apartment in jerusalem was chosen by the owner with your family's pampering in mind. The vacation rental in jerusalem has a private side entrance from the building that opens to a spacious upper floor with a great salon,dining room and a full kosher kitchen. There is a small two piece bathroom on this level. The lower level is your sleeping quarters and two more bathrooms to get you up and out. Ideal for short term rental in jerusalem What is the area like?It is a very nice and quiet neighborhood within 7 minutes walk down quiet streets to the German Colony. You can take leisurely strolls through these quiet streets and find yourself at the Jerusalem Theater,famous synagogues and peaceful parks. All buses come in and out of this neighborhood for easy access to all of the city and Israel. You can rent a car because you have your own parking space in front of the building. What shall I have for lunch?Many cafes and restaurants are found in this neighborhood. Just ask one of the locals. There are many choices on Emek Refaim in the German Colony. You can pick something new each day or stay with your favorite. Take away is easy since all choices on Emek Refaim are kosher. Marvad Haksamim is a great choice for lunch or dinner. They have a business lunch until 5 pm that will fill you for the rest of the night. The middle eastern flare and homemade flat breads are a great choice. Eat in or take it home to relax. Where can I empty my wallet?All along Emek Refaim are many local artisan shops. Walk here and grab a cup of coffee,ice cream at Aldo's, the famous bald guy or a slice at Israel's mainstay in pizza; Pizza Sababa. A quick bus ride will take you near the King David Hotel and the David Citadel Hotel to the new Mamilla Mall. A fantastic site to see as you check out local Israeli fashions on up to the Old Jaffa Gate to the old city and the daily Arab bazaar. Arts and Entertainment?An absolutely free tour of Jerusalem. Meet at the Jaffa Gate entrance and look for their representatives with red shirts. It is really free. You can also go to anyone of several cash kiosks for a cash exchange using your credit cards. Ask about any additional fees by the kiosk or your bank. All buses are very cheap and take you around the city easily or to the central bus station for trips all over Israel. Try the train to Tel Aviv for a nice leisurely 2 1/2 hour ride from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv proper. Taxis are on the streets all hours. Ask for a fixed rate or use the meter if you think it will be cheaper. Sometimes during traffic a fixed rate can be better for you.
