Where can I empty my wallet?The Dizengoff Mall has all the high street stores found in Israel such as; Castro and "Hamashbir" department store . Head down Bograshov Street for some trendy vintage style clothing shops and some of the souvenir shops around Ben Yehuda Street are a short walk away. North Dizengoff Street has some up market designer clothing stores. Also find your way to Sheinkin Street where you will find many local Israeli artisans with their own shops and many other chic and trendy stores. Some of the best food is found here all week l ong even on Shabbat.
Arts and Entertainment?Ben Gurion House on Ben Gurion Boulevard is worth visiting, and you can take a free English tour of old Tel Aviv on a Saturday morning from Rothschild Boulevard. You can walk south on the boardwalk to Old Jaffa where Jonah was swallowed by the whale. Don't worry! Whales don't eat tourists. Here you can find history on the streets near the old port and artisan's quarter. Many high end artist's shops are worth the visit and they will ship for you.
Let's Get PracticalOn Dizengoff Street you will find laundromats, banks and change kiosks. Most bus lines and roaming taxis also travel along Dizengoff Street at all hours of the day. The number 5 bus goes to the central bus station and the number 4 on Ben Yehuda St runs north and south along the beaches o the Hilton Hotel or to the central bus station. If you are lost ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction. Yashar. Yahsar, kol hazman. Yaminah. Means. "Straight the whole time and turn right". It usually means they have no clue but do not want to be rude and NOT give you directions.
