Where can I empty my wallet?While walking through this beautiful neighborhood find your way to Israel's daily bazaar, called Shuk HaCarmel. Its open market stalls will invite you with local breads, pastries, and selections of souvenirs to take back home. You can also stock your fridge here with exotic delicacies from around the world. A walk to Old Jaffa south along the promenade will take you to another shuk where you can find everything from nargilahs to magic carpets. There is also a large selection of antique stores to browse in Old Jaffa. Arts and Entertainment?Both the Reuven Rubin and Chaim Bialik museums are a short walk away on Bialik Street. Enjoy Rubin's collection of oil paintings or gaze on Chaim Bialik's great selection of manuscripts and poetry in his home left exactly as he had left it when he died. Ilana Goor has a museum and gallery in the Old Port in Jaffa and for an evening drink try "Yoezer Wine Bar" near the Clock Tower. There are excellent fish and seafood restaurants open in the evenings on Kedem Street.
