quiet apartment on a cul de sac with no traffic very close to cafes and grocer in Rechavia

What's in it?

This nice three bedroom vacation rental in Jerusalem has great decor and all you need for your family. There is a large salon with LCD TV with cable and wifi connection. The living space is very large with a dining table for 6 people and a fully equipped kitchen to eat in or bring take away back. The large window in the salon gives you great views to the city including David's Harp Bridge, the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Knesset. There is a fully stocked library with books of all types including religious, kid's choices and mainstream all for you to enjoy on your vacation rental in Jerusalem. Ideal for short term rental in jerusalem

What is the area like?

You are  only minutes to the trendy German Colony with all of the best cafes, restaurants, and shopping that makes the 15 minute walk worth it. On Hapalmach St there is a great locally owned cafe that puts the national chains to shame. Try a cup of coffee and one of the many sweet choices while sitting on the street much like the cafes in Europe. There is a take away shop for your daily meals or especially for Shabbat meals. Take what you want home or walk further down the street for a grocer with everything you need to stock up for your stay in this great neighborhood.

What shall I have for lunch?

Mai Pizzia has great pizza and salads for a quick snack or walk into the German Colony for more choices from breakfast to Asian cuisine. The #13 bus will take you into the city center via the David Citadel Hotel, the King David Hotel and Mamilla Mall.

Where can I empty my wallet?

Stop off at the Mamilla Mall with its trendy shops from Rolex to Israeli favorites like; TNT, Castro and FOX. The German Colony has many places with local owners and artisans that will ship your purchases home for you.

Arts and Entertainment?

The Islam Museum has great Islamic art influenced by the far east going back to the 7th century C.E. It is definitely worth it to see the permanent exhibits here. It is only a few minutes' walk from your apartment on Hapalmach St and Hanassi St.

Let's Get Practical

There is a bank on the corner so you can get cash from the atm at the most current rate of exchange. The #13 bus will take you to the city center, Mamilla Mall, near the Jaffa Gate to the old city. A bookstore, health food store, convenience store, cafe, grocer and take away will make this everything you need in one place.
