Let's Get Practical

Walk to Allenby St near the shuk and catch a city bus or a small sherut van-like taxi to take you north to the marina area or the new Tel Aviv port. You can go south to the central bus station for all buses to all parts of Israel.

Taxis and buses run 7 days a week and are a cheap and reliable way to get around the city. Most grocers will deliver so ask first to be sure before  you lay in stock for your vacation.
