Arts and Entertainment?The Ben-Gurion House is a two-story former home of Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion and his wife Paula, remains as when the couple lived here. Ben-Gurion left the house and contents, including their personal library of some 20,000 books, to the State of Israel. Upstairs, used solely by Ben-Gurion, has four library rooms and a bedroom. It really is nice to walk through the streets in this very European influenced city with its definite Middle Eastern flare. Buses run almost all day and all night. You can go north to the Eretz Israel Museum or to the central bus station for all buses to all parts of israel. Cabs are also a very cheap way to get around. Make sure you decide on a rate before you get in or ask to use the meter. ATMs are at all bank branches and will give you cash at the most current rates of exchange. All shops will take international credit cards but cash can sometimes get you a better price. Tel Aviv grocers will deliver your purchases to your flat so make sure you know your address.
