Rupin Street Parqueting In Tel Aviv
Apartment Overview
Guests Reviews

what a beautiful apartment with hardwood parquet floors you are between HaYarkon and Ben Yehuda Streets

What's in it?

The flooring is all hardwood parquet. The design and decor is meant for you to sit back and relax and only have to decide which beach you will walk to on your vacation. A full kitchen means you can cook in or just bring take away back to sit and enjoy the views to the city. The beach is so close you can smell the sea. This roomy apartment is a great deal and will save you over local hotels such as the Hilton Hotel and the Dan Hotel.

What is the area like?

This area is the beach zone of Tel Aviv. You can walk along the promenade which connects the newly remodeled Tel Aviv port to the north of you or to the ancient sea port at old Jaffa to the south of you. The best beaches are only 10 minutes by foot from this apartment. You can pick Gordon, Frishman or Bograshov beach. Each offers chairs and umbrellas to rent for the day. You need only bring your towel and sunblock. PS (bathing suit, too!)

What shall I have for lunch?

You have to try some restaurants on your own. I have my favorites but you can decide and send me some ideas.

On Ben Yehuda and Bograshov Streets you will find an authentic Mexican style restaurant called; Mexicana. the burritos are very good and you can have chicken or beef. Try a pitcher of great margaritas. Don't drive though, walk to the beach afterward. On the opposite corner is the Thai House. They offer traditional Thai foods with noodles, egg rolls and jasmine rice. The spring rolls are very good.

Where can I empty my wallet?

I say walk on Dizengoff Street. You may never make it to the actual Dizengoff Center because on the way are so many great shops with local artists and owners you can spend hours walking to the center and stop for dinner before you realize you have not made it all the way, yet.

On Dizengoof St and Frishman St find "Nox Alternative Fashion." great leather products, fun and funky shoes and clothes. From punk, rock to sexy street wear. Want to rent scooters? Stop off at the "Narcissist" at 43 Dizengoff street. They offer fashion charms.

Make a day of getting lost by walking down Ben Yehuda to Sheinkin Street for fun and funky one of a kind fashions and designs. While in the area go to the daily bazaar at Shuk HaCarmel. You can buy clothes, shoes and fruits and veggies here at the daily bazaar.

Arts and Entertainment?

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art~One of the biggest museums in Israel, Tel Aviv Museum of Art holds a wide selection of works and offers an interesting representation of Israeli art and culture. 27 Sha'ul Ha-Melech Boulevard

Helena Rubenstein Pavillion~Located in Habima theater complex, Helena Rubinstein Pavilion holds art exhibitions of well-known Israeli artists. Opened in 1959, to serve as a second venue for Tel Aviv Museum of Art and its growing collection of works, Helena Rubinstein pavilion is home to Israeli contemporary art.  Some of the most acclaimed Israeli artists, who have established their reputation worldwide, presented their works here at one point or another.

Let's Get Practical

ATMs can give you access to your bank account or credit cards for advances at the most recent shekel rate of exchange. Most businesses will take your currencies and give you change back in shekels. Car rentals are on HaYarkon near the american embassy. Travelling in and out of Tel Aviv is easy by car so thatyou can get to all parts of Israel for site seeing during the day.
