You can walk south on the boardwalk to Old Jaffa where Jonah was swallowed by the whale. Don't worry! Whales don't eat tourists. Here you can find history on the streets near the old port and artisan's quarter. Many high end artist's shops are worth the visit and they will ship for you. Let's Get PracticalOn Dizengoff Street you will find laundromats, banks and change kiosks. Most bus lines and roaming taxis also travel along Dizengoff Street at all hours of the day. The number 5 bus goes to the central bus station and the number 4 on Ben Yehuda St runs north and south along the beaches o the Hilton Hotel or to the central bus station. If you are lost ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction. Yashar. Yahsar, kol hazman. Yaminah. Means. "Straight the whole time and turn right". It usually means they have no clue but do not want to be rude and NOT give you directions.
