There is a Hebrew Ulpan for beginners on Lasalle Street. Oriental carpet dealers, local wine shops and 24 hour kiosks are found on all 4 corners. The Boulevard is a great place to meet people, walk with dogs, cycle and stop at a juice bar.The area is highly sought-after, both by locals and tourists. This studio apartment is located in a newly restored Unesco preserved Bauhaus building. It's about 4 minutes walk to the beach. What shall I have for lunch?Buscafe serves light meals and is just across the road. On the boulevard you will find juice kiosks and sandwich and coffee bars. Gootcha has excellent seafood meals and a busy bar area at night. Where can I empty my wallet?Ben Yehuda has some good antique and carpet dealers located North of Ben Gurion Boulevard. Head to Dizengoff Street for the high end boutiques. designers and famous hairstylists. Arts and Entertainment?For a bit of Isreali history and culture, visit the Ben Gurion museum , bewteen Ben Yehuda and the beachfront, for an intersting insight into the home and life of David Ben Gurion. Barbounias on Ben Yehuda is a good local bar, but get there early if you want a seat.It is about a 10 minute walk to the Namal Tel Aviv, the city's port which is a great restaurant and night club venue at night. Let's Get PracticalNo 4 and No 10 bus will take you all over Tel Aviv, stops are on Ben Yehuda. Below the Bauhaus building is a local Tiv Taam supermarket with a good meat and cheese deli section. Get your Israeli wines from the wine shop next to Buscafe on the corner.
