in trendy Sheinkin and Rothchild Streets shopping, beaches and good eateries all in the neighborhood
What's in it?This holiday apartment in tel aviv has been recently renovated and has the best design and interiors. It has 3 bedrooms and a large spacious open living room and kitchen combination. There is a 42" plasma screen TV and the kitchen is kosher. Perfect for short term rental in tel aviv What is the area like? All of the shops and restaurants are on Sheinkin Street. It is a very quiet vacation rental in tel aviv and the neighborhood streets are safe and beautifully trimmed and manicured for the special residents in this upscale and chic neighborhood. Walk to the beach through Montifiore Street and on to Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv's first neighborhood outside the walls of the old city of Jaffa. You can walk shortly to the north to the Dizengoff Center. You are centrally located to everything the city has to offer. What shall I have for lunch?I read this review and wanted to give my recomendation. "In the last couple of years Shenkin has become a little too popular, so you might want to stay away on Fridays, when the pavements are so cramped you can barely move". This is why you go to the Sheinkin Street area on Friday nights. Fun Fun Fun Sus Etz (meaning wooden horse) 20 Sheinkin Street Tel: 03-5287955
Where can I empty my wallet? You can walk across Allenby Street to the stalls of the Shuk HaCarmel bazaar. It is open all day long with fresh fruits and veggies, fresh cuts of meat as well as wine and cheese sellers. You can haggle here and do some food tasting to find what you need for your fully stocked fridge. Clothes, shoes and other inexpensive items can be bought here but are no rivals to the trends on Sheinkin Street. Arts and Entertainment?Just behind the shuk is the oldest established neighborhood in Tel Aviv; Neve Tzedek. Many forward thinking homeowners have bought every square inch of this area and it is in the middle of an upheaval of rebuilding. You will see newly painted and decorated private homes in these narrow streets from the turn of the century. At the Suzanne Dellal Center you will find both the Inbal and Batsheva Dance companies. Shows are offered weekly and feature local Israelis in local and international productions. Let's Get PracticalCabs will take you along to the sites and museums but you can walk to the beaches and restaurants and on to most of the shopping. Buses go up and down at great intervals and are a very cheap way to get north tp the Sportek and south to Old Jaffa. Grocers are AM/PM or Supersol and they will deliver your orders to the apartment so you can be fully stocked to prepare your own meals or just have a wine and cheese party.
