Everytime I go to this part of Tel Aviv I find another place that I had not seen before. So make sure to get out and walk around. Make your way to the beach in 15 minutes, the boardwalk is closer and Old Jaffa is south on the boardwalk another 15 minutes. You are located very close to the Dan Intercontinental Hotel. You can rest assured that your vacation home away from home is the best deal in Neve Tzedek. What shall I have for lunch?As you walk along Drummer's Beach towards Old Jaffa you will find Manta Ray along the beach. It offers great seafood and fish choices while giving you the best view of the Mediterranean Sea and Old Jaffa port. The Nina Cafe in Old Neve Tzedek is a typical Parisian cafe influenced by the owner's experiences from living in France. The waiters are dressed in black and white with bowties to complete the ambiance that you are actually sitting in a little cafe along the Champs Elysee in Paris. Where can I empty my wallet?Agas and Tamar is a unique collection of jewelry that blends together the ancient and modern in harmony with nature. The Dizengoff Center is a nice walk from this neighborhood and offers great people watching and checking the old architecture of Tel Aviv along the way. On the way to the center you will find Sheinkin Avenue with its trendy and funky shops owned by Israelis and filled with local artisans. Arts and Entertainment?The Nachum Gutman Museuem has a large collection of the artist's works as well as a collection of other Jewish and Israeli artists. The museum is located in the neighborhood of Neve Tzedek. 21 Rokach St., Neve Zedek Let's Get PracticalTel Aviv can be easily walked. You can make your way to Old Jaffa, Neve Tzedek, the beach and the promenade all within 15 minutes walking distance. The number 5 bus goes up and down Allenby Street and will take you to the central bus station or to the north beach area. Cabs are cheap and will take you to those destinations you cannot walk to such as the Eretz Israel museum near Ramat Aviv. ATMs are at every major bank branch. You can receive shekels at the latest exchange rates.
