Beautiful sea view apartment by the port
What's in it?This lovely apartment has a spacious living room with a plasma tv and a wall size window overlooking the sea and the port. Not only is the apartment lit naturally with daylight, but the ocean breeze is a delight. The apartment also has one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a fully furnished kitchen complete with appliances. What is the area like?Located at the most central point of the "old north," this apartment accesses much of what tel aviv has to offer. Just around the corner is the port (namal), where one can enjoy fresh sea food, clubs, pubs, shopping and well, pretty much anything! Around the other corner, bordering tel aviv to the north is the yarkon river and park. This will surely fill both athletic and outdoor needs, as the park is full of activities from west to east (they even have a zoo!). Further down Dizengoff is where the famous dizengoff center lies, an indoor mall with a skyway over the street, hundreds of stores, gym and a cinema. What shall I have for lunch?Just outside the door, Yermiyahu street is a very diverse place to eat, boasting all sorts of establishments including Moses burger (best hamburger in tel aviv), award winning Chummus Ashkara, popular cafes, as well as fresh juice, stone ground ice cream, sushi and more. You may also venture over to the port for fresh sea food, steak at Gilly's or any number of seaside meals its has to offer. Where can I empty my wallet? To the north is the ultramodern Ramat Aviv mall, a popular and buzzing venue. Take the number 5 bus down Dizengoff and you'll arrive at Dizengoff Center, a modern and booming shopping mall with anything from music shops to designer labels. Just down King George st. is the carmel market, also known as the "shuk." Here you can find local clothes, trinkets, artwork, fresh produce, spices, olives, dried fruit... the list goes on and its all very inexepnsive. Where King George meets the shuk is Sheinkin street; stylish, trendy and sometimes wild, Sheinkin remains the "shopping center" of tel aviv. Arts and Entertainment? The port, which is visible from the salon window, provides all the entertainment needed from popular jazz bars to trendy clubs and restaraunts. Northern Dizengoff itself buzzes with plenty of pubs, such as Mash, a genuine English pub, or Movieing, a hip cafe by day bar by night spot on the corner of Yermiyahu. If its art you fancy, you can check out the tel aviv art museum or check for shows at Habima - the ever popular National Teathre of Israel. All this just a short distance away. Let's Get PracticalBuses run all over the city, many of which pass just outside the front door. Taxis are always available as well, making all areas of the city accessible 24/7. Bus number 5 runs up and down Dizengoff and Rothchild, ending at the Arlozorov train station and the New Central Bus Station, both crucial points of travel in Israel. Bus number 4 runs up and down Ben Yehuda and Allenby, both particularly bustling streets. There are also "sherut," which are bus-taxis. They run the same routes as the buses as well as the same fare, but continue on weekends when the buses stop.
