Panoramic sea vied from old jaffa to the Port Luxury duplex designed for those seeking a central location without compromising on standards.
What's in it?Reserve your place now in one of Israel's most beautiful and historic areas. This beautiful duplex boasts two double bedrooms, 2 private balconies, a garden, 2 parking spaces and breathtaking views of both the sea and surrounding areas of Jaffa. The home owner has carefully decorated and furnished this apartment to the highest standard. Beautiful paintings adorn many of the walls and antique furniture gives each room its own character. However the modern fitted kitchen means that practicality hasn't been sacrificed either. Here one will find all the hardware and utensils needed for short term or extended stays. The two double bedrooms extend the overall theme with the upstairs bedroom opening out to a private rooftop balcony where one can unwind and enjoy the beautiful Israeli weather and stunning sea views. The added privacy of this bedroom/balcony may especially suit people vacationing with nanny's or servants. This property is truly a pearl in one of Israel's great vacation locations. What is the area like?Jaffa is one of the most historical cities in the world. Tel Aviv's "older sister" boasts bountiful biblical history, along with charming lanes, antiquities, quiet churches, galleries and a picturesque fishing port. What's more is that the recently restored beach front promenade snakes all the way around Yaffa making all these areas easily accessible by foot. The beach is also a mere 10 minute stroll. Quite simply put most amenities rest in close proximity to this property.
What shall I have for lunch? If history is Jaffa's number one specialty then food is a very close second. The flavors, variety and relative inexpensiveness of the food have had Tel Avivan's coming here to dine for decades. Where can I empty my wallet? In Jaffa this won't be a problem. From clothes to antiques and everything in between can be found here. Fashionable clothing outlets like Castro sit side by side with stall selling locally produced art and jewelry. However there are some ‘must visit' places in order to feel the true Jaffa shopping experience. The first is Shuk Hapishpishim (The Flea Market). Set among the narrow streets filled with workshops and storage centres belonging to the 19th century Arab quarter; it is a warren of junk, bargains and crafts. Open every day except Saturday - it's worth getting there early if you want to find a real bargain! Arts and Entertainment?Jaffa is packed full of places to visit and land mark buildings too numerous to list here. The narrow winding cobble streets can make it difficult to reach your destination. With this in mind it may be worthwhile joining an organized walking tour. There are many but among the more reputable include Mishkenot Ruth Daniel. These guys offer great tours through the most pertinent and historic areas. If you are a bit more adventurous a trip along the beach front promenade up to Neve Tzedek is well worth the 30 minute walk. Built way back in 1887 by a group of Jewish families Neve Tzedek has today become regarded as one of the most beautiful and stylish areas in Tel Aviv. Home to rich Israeli's and expats this area has a vibrant nightlife set among its old streets. Café's bars and ice cream parlors are buzzing with people at night while local clothing, jewelry and pottery shops dominate the scene by day. Let's Get PracticalMost amenities are accessible by foot in Jaffo. This includes supermarkets, ATM machines, taxi's, cafe's and restaurants. The area is served by a number of local buses which connect Jaffo to central Tel Aviv in 15 minutes. Downtown Tel Aviv is 30 minute beach front walk. For those renting a car this property has 2 parking spaces- a real bonus in Israel.
