What's in it?
This is a typical and original Tel Aviv apartment dating back to the 30's and 40's - the romantic era of the pioneers who settled and developed Tel Aviv . Poets, writers, singers and actors lived and worked in these buildings, including the famous Amos Keinan. The apartment is beautifully restored with original flooring, wooden shutters, and has a Tel Aviv balcony overlooking a quiet street. There is a second apartment in the building which can be used by families or friends who might need 2 bedrooms.
What is the area like?
Close to Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff Streets, and ideally located in a quiet street where you can experience true Tel Aviv life amongst the locals. The popular beaches are a 5 minute walk down Mapu or Frishman Streets. Corner cafes, theatres and even a synagogue are close by on Ben Yehuda Street.
What shall I have for lunch?
Typical Israeli food on Frishman street for the local Sabich- a dish with eggplant, plus world class trendy eateries such as "Gotcha". For pasta try " Ernesto" on Ben Yehuda Street.
Where can I empty my wallet?
Along Ben Yehuda Street you will find local Judaica arts and crafts, Dead Sea products and souvenirs. Dizengoff Street has some up market boutique stores.
Arts and Entertainment?
Right inside the apartment are old photographs and artifacts of early Tel Aviv. The apartment is nearby to the temporary Habima Theatre. On Dizengoff and Frishman Streets there is also a local playhouse theatre
Let's Get Practical
From Ben Yehuda Street, the number 10 bus goes to Jaffa and the Carmel market. ATMs are all along Dizengoff. There is a " Supersol " supermarket on Ben Yehuda, which is open almost 24/7. Laundromats, bakeries and florist shops are also on Ben Yehuda Street.
